Soul Restore is for Anyone Who:

  • Is faithful in church and desires a deeper life to be equipped to help others
  • Cares for others and is absorbing the pain and hurts of those they care for
  • Knows they are playing small and living below the level of their freedom and destiny
  • Is feeling somewhat like an “imposter” because they are hiding their doubt and pain
  • Has not found the Church’s preaching and teaching to be enough to free
  • Has the desire to prepare themselves and their families for life’s inevitable hurts
  • Is having a hard time getting or staying sober from a life-controlling issue
  • Has achieved sobriety but has not been freed from fear, shame, and guilt
  • Desires to be equipped with tools to reach others with the healing of Jesus, by harvesting and harnessing God's healing touch in their own life.
  • Church pastors and leaders who want to equip their people to be a force for healing, to be a relevant, growth-producing safe place in their part of God's world.

Your Story:

Everyone’s pain is different. We carry our parent’s pain. Our children carry our pain. Pain can overwhelm our ability to respond. It “jacks up” our neuro-system and we run, we fight, we freeze.

We simply do not know what to do but “it” keeps wrecking our life. Big traumas and little traumas. Life is painful. The Church must be equipped. We are equipped with learning tools to build resilience and restore the full measure of God’s Promise-Land blessings.

We all carry hidden pain which can break us, but the “Jesus-as-Shepherd” life mends us even stronger than before we were broken. He wants to use your story as a testimony to His great, delivering power. Yes, He loves you and me that much!

My Story:

My childhood was abusive and painful. I attended church regularly, was president of the youth group, and sang in the choir that my mom directed, many times watching my drunk dad on the balcony trying not to fall off the pew.

Later in that church, we would bury my dad and little brother from their suicides. Also there, later I preached at my older brother’s funeral after being murdered for the $4.25 he had in his pocket. The title of the message was, “Why Does God Allow Bad Things to Happen to Good People?”

I love God’s people and have always been part of a church. However, I could not find a place of understanding deep enough where healing could happen. Later in life, I found programs in the church to help with addictive behaviors and crippling states of being such as depression, anxiety, or grief. But I still was not getting to the root of my pain or getting free.

For me, and maybe for you, I needed something that reached deeper, into the root causes. To find what seemed to compel me to be destructive to myself and steal time from my family while keeping me feeling like a child walking around in an adult body.
