Problems & Solutions
Problem:
⦁ Christian believers are hindered in their life and service for God by negative, life-controlling patterns such as alcohol, drug, or pornography use, emotional eating, anxiety, fear, depression, low self-worth, and shame-based thought cycles. These destructive patterns often result in fractured relationships and families which are in need of restoration and reconciliation.
⦁ There are currently over 35,000 churches that are using a Christian-adapted 12-step program that addresses addictive behavior patterns and conditions such as depression, anger, control, anxiety, fear, etc. However, these programs are not directly addressing root issues such as past generational influences, destructive beliefs, spiritual curses, healing of soul wounds, and the demonic empowerment of these root causes of destruction.
⦁ Christian believers are often not engaged in actively serving God and using their spiritual gifts in the local church. This inactivity is often due to their not having fully processed their own suffering or painful experiences and thereby not allowing God to harvest their pain into useful, practical ministry to others.
⦁ The culture of our current world is suffering the pains of loss and disruption due to the Covid crisis and the prevalence of unaddressed and unhealed Adverse Childhood Experiences. The Church must offer evangelism and a community that is practical, healing in nature and that addresses their felt needs.
Solution:
⦁ Soul RESTORE provides an integrated solution for overcoming the root causes behind destructive behavior patterns. The program combines a biblical foundation with current brain science and trauma-informed research, in order to isolate and replace destructive identity, belief, and thinking cycles. The program also then employs a practical “truth-in-love” tool to assist in the reconciliation and restoration of relationships and families.
⦁ Soul RESTORE offers the Church and the individual an approach that directly addresses the root causes of destructive addictive patterns and conditions. It also uses current brain and trauma science to illustrate God’s truth. Therefore, this program is not redundant with current church recovery programming, but instead, it is a needed complementary program addition. Soul RESTORE will also integrate with community clinics and outreach services and organizations.
⦁ In addition, the Soul RESTORE program employs a personal “life-mapping” tool to assist in applying this experience in daily living and to identify where an individual may effectively serve God by helping others in a peer-to-peer environment. This process of gaining tools to RESTORE one’s full “Promise-land” life experience leads to more Christian believers being actively involved in the evangelism, discipleship, and healing ministries of their local church.
⦁ The Soul RESTORE program produces a state of practical readiness in the believer to build a bridge to Jesus in the midst of a non-believer’s felt needs. This unique empathy results from having applied the tools of Soul RESTORE to their own lives thereby discovering that their most effective ministry comes from those places where God has touched them
